Arise & Shine Hope Centre (ASHC) is located in the South of Johannesburg in Freedom Park (Devland).The area is in an informal settlement where poverty and unemployment are of high rate. The community has economic, health-related and psycho-social challenges that makes the children to become vulnerable. We have Children who come from child-headed homes, and children experiencing poverty because of Parents/Guardians depending on government grant.

The organisation deals with Orphans and Vulnerable Children, and we are a fully independent child protection organisation. The project started in 2005 by Noah, whereby they came to the community to help us care for our orphans. The project started with an Aftercare Programme and in 2007 proceeded with a Day care, known as ECD (Early Childhood Development) Programme. The organization is registered under NPO Arise and Shine Hope Centre, and is currently running with donations in kind.
